Our projects in Tanzania have encompassed infrastructure, Malaria and HIV/AIDS prevention, anti-corruption training and tax system implementation.
We started working in Tanzania in 1963 and since 1997 we have worked with the Tanzania Revenue Authority providing technical assistance, IT, capacity and training to help improve revenue generation.
To promote commercial growth and improve the quality of life for Tanzanians, Crown Agents USA is working with the Millennium Challenge Corporation from 2008-2013, targeting the transport, energy and water sectors.
Efforts to combat malaria and HIV/AIDS have included a DFID-funded project with the Population Services International (PSI) in 2004 to procure and deliver bednets and chemical treatments.
We helped to provide improved accessibility to dependable HIV/AIDS care and prevention products in Tanzania from 2004-2006, under USAID as a subcontractor to the Academy for Educational Development.
The government also appointed Crown Agents USA to provide anti-corruption training to officers from the Tanzanian Prevention of Corruption Bureau Delegates from 2006-2007.
